Company code of conduct

KODAMA PLASTICS creates added values through its business activities based on quality improvement and contributes to the development of economy and society. For this, we are determined to fulfill our social responsibility with sound judgment and comply with all laws and their spirit with respect for human rights based on the following seven principles.
Safety / Quality
1. We will develop and deliver socially useful and safe products and service to achieve consumers' / users' satisfaction and trust.
Compliance
2. We respect fair and free competition. We follow the law and use our common sense that is socially acceptable when carrying out our business. We maintain a healthy and sound relationship between politics and the government, and we do not have any relationship with antisocial forces and organization that pose a threat to social order and security.
Information disclosure / communication
3. We disclose information necessary to society in an easy, understandable, and appropriate manner and maintain as well as develop a healthy relationship with society through extensive communication. We have a thorough protection and management system instead of personal and client information.
Human rights / labor
4. We respect workers’ personality, individuality, and diversity and aim to maintain and develop a vigorous workplace by offering equal opportunities for all workers regardless of their race and gender. To secure a safe and worker-friendly environment, we comply with various labor regulations including OHSAS18001 to improve our labor system.
Environment
5. We take initiatives in product development that will contribute to the reduction of CO2, which is a problem common to all mankind, and promote development and marketing of environmentally responsible products. We will also take responsible actions such as data research on green procurement, REACH regulation, ELV order, and RoHS order.
Corporate citizen activity
6. We engage ourselves in community-based corporate citizen activities such as local clean-up activity and promote cooperation and collaboration with the local community.
Top Management‘s attitude
7. The top management of the company takes the lead in thoroughly applying corporate ethics and its intention within the company and inform other related organizations such as suppliers. The top management will provide a workplace where employees can work with motivation and enthusiasm, and it will take action with sincerity and a sense of responsibility to aim for the growth and development of the company together with the employees.
